FAQ

Does our child need a formal diagnoses to attend your program?

No, they do not need a diagnosis to attend our programs. Bring your concern regarding the child, we will do our assessment to help them reach their highest potential for any socially valid and meaningful skills.

What is the registration process?

Our rolling enrollment process runs year-round, strategically aligned with waitlist dynamics and available seats. We encourage you to visit our center with the learner for a comprehensive 45-minute intake session with our skilled clinicians. During this time, they will assess the learner's strengths and areas for development, providing valuable insights. You’ll have the opportunity to meet our dedicated team and see our programs in action. Rest assured, we will notify you promptly as soon as a spot opens up for your learner.

Is your program full-time or part-time? Can my child attend for only some of the days?

Learners attend our intervention programs Monday-Friday. We have three options: Morning, afternoon, or full day.

For part-time services, currently, we offer an 8-week social skills group at various times throughout the year.

How are your programs and services funded?

We are a fee-for-service program, meaning families pay directly for our programs and services.  Families who have received funding for Core Clinical Services through the Ontario Autism Program may use their funding for our programs and services.

Do you provide home services?

We offer both at-center and in-home services based on the family's preferences. However, we encourage participation in our center-based programs. These programs provide valuable opportunities for developing social skills, school readiness skills, and peer interactions that are not typically available through in-home services.

Do you provide respite services?

In today’s fast-paced world, our dedicated team offers respite services designed to help reduce caregiver burnout. We utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to engage your learner in activities focused on life skills, meaningful tasks, and enjoyable leisure pursuits.
